One-Piece Wonders: Hot and Getting Hotter
Posted: Jul 03 2014
What do Kate Moss, Alexa Chung and virtually every other off duty model have in common? They’ve all been caught rocking one-piece wonders like jumpsuits and rompers. There’s something undeniably classy and effortless that comes with wearing these silhouettes. Jumpers and rompers have recently been on the rise for more reasons than one: Their practical nature and their varability in style, shape and look. Here are some of our favorite jumpsuit/romper looks:
Kate Moss looked effortlessly cool and put together in a dark green button up jumpsuit. She added a simple and classic black and gold belt to create some definition around the waist, and a long black velvet coat thrown over. To top it all off, she paired it with a pair of oversized sunglasses and a Mulberry croc bag.
We also love Alexa Chung in this black mini-romper. We’ve often seen Alexa pair a masculine-inspired romper with a somewhat boxy shape and sturdy hardware, along with a feminine blouse underneath. Here, she finished off the look with sophisticated makeup and a classic, black Chanel bag.
Our last jumpsuit inspiration comes from polish model Anja Rubik. We are obsessed with this over-size and exaggerated jumpsuit. We love the shape and fit of this flowy silhouette, the feminine bow and the effortless drape of the wide-legged pants.
These one-piece wonders are not going anywhere, and we love it. And what we love most: the endless possibilities and jumpsuit styles. Whether you go for the draped pants, a skinny pant, mini-romper, short-sleeved, or long-sleeved, there is a fit out there that tailors to every individual style.
